About the artwork:
"I was inspired by the song “Yellow Submarine”. Yellow Submarine is cheerful, peaceful, and magical song all at the same time. I have always pictured the world on the sun, different fantasies running through my head over the years. My intention is to encapsulate the magical world we are sailing through in the song, in our little Yellow Submarine. Sea of green to me translates to beds of green mosses floating amongst the waves and clouds. A feeling of floating ease, like spiraling swirls of calming Chamomile. The beetles and bugs encased in Amber show their timeless beauty and is also a winking nod to a magical ageless band."

About Lindsay:
"Lindsay is an 30 year artist from Fort Mill, SC. They embrace both traditional and contemporary influences, incorporating elements from their passion of Mother Nature, surrealism, and personal experiences into their work. Their process is a dance between intuition and intention. Everything is fueled by a passion to create and gift back what nature has given to them in their continual healing and growth process. Plants came to them when their mother passed away six years ago, and have remained an enriching constant. They have healed and reawakened the creator that had also passed away during that hard time. Lindsay wishes to emulate that healing and hope back out into the community by sharing the whimsy of plants and nature in their artwork in many different forms."
