"This work was inspired by the song Penny Lane. I replaced Abraham Lincoln with John Lennon on a penny. I replaced the word “liberty” with “love”. And I used the year 1960 to mark the beginning on the Beatles."

"I am an artist from Charlotte, NC. I recently graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South and moved to Charleston, SC to pursue culinary school. Art has always been a passion of mine. It is one of my favorite ways to relax and express my creativity!"
